Review: Years Ago You Coloured Me

The Journal's Sam Smith has reviewed J.S.Watts' new collection, "Years Ago You Coloured Me" in issue 48 of The Journal (now out and available).

You will have to buy issue 48 to read the entire review, but here is an extract to whet your appetite:

"well-worked metaphors, lines lovingly crafted... Withal a poet of sounds and colours offering at times a forensic examination of memory, of motives for writing, the trustworthiness of impressionistic recall... undercut by the surprise of memories unbidden. So accessible it's small wonder her single poems have won prizes. She is so very quotable - The Journal"

A Conversation About Writing and Literary Fiction

J.S.Watts has been interviewed by the author Jay Lemming about writing in general and literary fiction in particular.

It was a thought provoking interview and Jay Lemming claims that "J.S. Watts has put me in my place…in the best way possible!"

The interview is part on an ongoing series of interviews with indie authors on the topic of literary fiction. There are lots of deliciously different opinions, in turns out.
