Sawbo Writers' Club is Dead. Long Live Writers' Club.

The next and final meeting of the Sawbo Writers' Club at Sawbridge Words Bookshop is taking place on Wednesday, 9th May. The shop is sadly closing down. We want to thank Neville for his kind contribution to the local writing and reading community and wish him well for the future.

Emma Vandore will be leading the session and we'll be discussing building and maintaining tension.

Please come at 7.30 pm and make the last meeting of Sawbo Writers' Club a joyous occasion.

£10.00 for the evening (£5.00 students, pensioners and unwaged), including refreshments. Rumour has it that there will be champagne.

Venue: Sawbridge Words Bookshop, 47 Bell Street, Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire (Opposite the Café of the Angels)

Waterstone's in Bishop Stortford have kindly offered us a new home, and from June we'll be there on the first Sunday of every month in our new guise as the Writers' Club. Our first meeting will be free and we'll be considering writers' tips - our own, those we've filched from other writers, and we'd like to hear yours too. Sunday, June 3rd at 2-4 pm. More details below.
